Lola Jane in her Easter dress. Fer cute! She is just two months old in this picture. Erica is not sure but I think that her eyes will stay blue.

Emma showing the advantages of a "puff" hair style. "Why yes, I am tall enough to drive the go karts by my self." The guy running the concession didn't quite see it our way. She rode with me.
This is the completed painting titled "just at this moment." It represents the very moment when the light that follows darkness appears.
Emma in school showing why home school is a better fit for her method of study. She is the first out of bed and has her school work done before most of the house is awake. I was apprehensive when we made the decision to teach the girls at home but the proof is in the pudding and it has proven to be the best decision Jane and I have made. It has been a LOT of work but it has been the best thing we have done. As you can tell from my blogging, I am not the one teaching them to write!
I needed a model to shoot a reference photo for the "First Vision" painting I have been working on. I couldn't find a willing victim so I set up the wireless remote. I have been asked what I experienced while I painted this event. It was not the process of painting that was note worthy but the making of this photograph. "How would I react if. . ."
