For art class today I taught the kids about the "photography triangle" of apature, shutter speed and ISO. Then we went into the cove and they all took turns playing models and photographers. I am not sure but I think that I did infact shoot this one but then again it could have been shot by one of the students too. . . . . . My Katherine, once again those eyes! She has the prettiest eyes.

Jane has a new favorite store and hauled me along for the ride. I don't recall what it was called but it was full of women and bolts of fabric. I could tell by the looks on the faces of the girls working at the store that they were wondering who the weirdo with the camera was and why is he taking close up pictures of our fabric. I am almost over being self conscious about dragging a camera with me and taking pictures every where I go, but not quite yet.

I had my camera back in the studio and was shooting a progress shot of a painting I am working on but ended up shooting my air brushes instead. I thought the pile of chrome was kind of cool. I use a lot of air brush when I paint but I do my best not to have it show. I have two Iwata and two Paasche air brushes for those wondering. I have both but I prefer the Paasche just for its general toughness. I am a little hard on my air brushes and they seem to take the abuse better.

We did a conference table for a company in Provo. They wanted the company logo painted into the top of the table so. . . . . . here it is in progress. A sign company makes a large vinyl negative of the logo that is used as a mask. It is laid on to the painted table, painted and then a clear coat is applied to seal the whole thing and give it its' final gloss. I'll post a final when we get it installed. (I know. . . . . exciting!)
